My name is Edward A. Oswalt Jr. LPTA and I would like to share a few facts about myself. I graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 1996 with an Associate's Degree in Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

I have taken numerous continuing education courses over the years with a focus on Stroke rehabilitation and Wound care. My career includes working in the Outpatient, Skilled Nursing, Home Health, and Hospital settings with the majority of work being done in the Skilled Nursing Facilities in California, North Carolina and Virginia. I am currently licensed in North Carolina and Virginia. I have been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 12 years.

I was the Rehabilitation Director for Britthaven of Havelock nursing home for 2 years before I came to the Eastern Shore in August 2005 to join a rehab team that is focused on superior patient care and customer service.

I am one of the founders that helped establish our business at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Quail Run Assisted Living Facility located in Nelsonia, Virginia. We continue to provide comprehensive care there incorporating our years of experience with patient care and state of the art technology for modalities first introduced to the Eastern Shore at our facilities. Our most recent expansion involves the opening of our Outpatient Clinic in Belle Haven, Virginia. With this addition we have broadened the scope of our practice and are now providing a continuum of care from acute incidents to chronic conditions.
